  2. Any gifted garments might come in random sizes; we cannot offer exchanges for size issues, fit issues, or any defects on these gifted items.

  3. The actual gifted garment might look different from any displayed photographs.

  4. Offers are valid only while supplies last.

  5. Gifted products cannot be exchanged for cash refunds or store credit.

 

Pricing and Payment

  • Prices Include GST: All prices you see on our website already include GST (Goods & Service Tax).

  • Free Shipping (India): We offer FREE shipping on all orders within India worth ₹5000 or more! (Just a heads-up: this free shipping offer usually doesn't apply during sale periods).

  • International Shipping Costs: For international orders, your shipping cost will be calculated and clearly shown at checkout before you finalize your purchase.

  • International Duties & Taxes: Please note that any duties or taxes charged by your country are not included in our product or shipping prices. You'll need to pay these directly to the shipping company when your order arrives.

    • Important: If you don't pay these duties and taxes, and the shipment can't be delivered, we unfortunately can't offer you a refund.

  • Pricing Errors: While we try our best to ensure all prices on our website are correct, errors can sometimes happen. If we find an obvious pricing error, we're not obligated to sell you the product at that incorrect, lower price.

    • We'll inform you within 3 working days and give you the choice to either confirm your order at the correct price or cancel it.

    • If you choose to cancel, we'll refund your amount within 15 days. If you want to proceed with the corrected price, you'll need to place a new order, and we'll cancel and refund your original one.

  • Completing Your Payment: Once you've added items to your cart, just follow our secure payment process and verify your details.

  • Modifying Your Order: You can always change your order details before making the final payment.

  • Secure Payments: To keep your financial information safe, your credit/debit card details are encrypted. This allows for immediate payment processing when you place your order.

  • Confirming Your Purchase: When you click "Authorize Payment," you're confirming that you are the rightful owner of the credit card being used.

  • Card Authorization: Credit/debit card payments are subject to verification and approval by your bank or card issuer.

  • If Payment Fails: If your payment isn't authorized for any reason, we can't process or deliver your order, and it will be considered canceled.

  • No Bank Cheques: We do not accept bank cheques as a form of payment.

We make paying easy! We accept payments through:

  • Pay U India: Use all major Credit & Debit Cards, plus popular wallets like Paytm, Freecharge, MobiKwik, HDFC PayZapp, and Airtel Money.

  • Stripe: We also accept Mastercard, VISA, AMEX, and Apple Pay.

Cancellation Policy

Changed your mind? No problem!

  • An order can only be canceled before it's processed for shipping.

  • To cancel, please email us at care@thelucknowchikankari.com or call us at +91 9068557803 with your request.

  • Important: We reserve the right to refuse a cancellation if your order has already been processed and dispatched.

  • We'll get back to you about your cancellation request within 24 hours.

Exchange / Refund / Return Policy

(Please note: Online orders cannot be exchanged or returned at our physical stores.)

1. Exchange (Only for Orders within India)

Your purchase is eligible for an exchange if:

  • It arrived damaged: Please send a photo of the damaged product to care@thelucknowchikankari.com within 48 hours of receiving it.

  • You need a different size: If the new size you want is out of stock, we'll give you a coupon code. This code will be valid for 6 months and can be used to buy something of the same value or more from our online store.

  • You don't like the style: If the style isn't quite what you expected, we'll issue you a coupon code. This code will also be valid for 6 months and can be used for a purchase of the same value or higher from our entire online collection – giving you plenty of options!

 Policy-

  • If your order is eligible for Exchange kindly inform us of the problem by sending us an email at care@thelucknowhikankari.com within 7 days of receiving the order. Our customer care team will get back to you within 48 hours.

  • Products bought online cannot be exchanged in stores.

  • The Exchange Process takes 9-18 days

  • If your order is eligible for Exchange, we will schedule a pickup for the garments within 48 hours of receiving the email. All additional information will be provided via email.

  • Please ensure the returned merchandise is unused and has the original packaging, price tag, and invoice.

  • We allow multiple size exchanges if we have available stock in your required size.

  • If the size you want in exchange is ‘Out of Stock’, you will be issued a coupon code which will be valid for 6 months. The coupon code issued can be used to make a purchase from our complete online collection for the same value or higher. 

  • All courier charges for exchanges will be borne by us.

 

Return/Refund (Valid for Both Domestic & International Orders)

You can get a refund if:

  • You receive a damaged or defective product.

  • We accidentally send you the wrong style or size.

Here's Our Policy:

  • If your order qualifies for a return/refund, please email us at care@thelucknowchikankari.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Our customer care team will respond within 48 hours.

  • The refund process typically takes 10-15 days.

  • If your order is eligible for a return, we'll arrange a pickup from your delivery address within 48 hours of getting your email. We'll send you all the additional details via email.

  • Please make sure the returned item is unused and includes its original packaging, price tag, and invoice.

  • We'll cover all courier charges for the return.

  • The Lucknow Chikankari (Sarala Lata Creations) has the right to inspect any returned product before processing the refund.

  • If a refund is issued, the amount will be sent back to your original online payment method within 15 days of your request being verified, subject to your bank's policy.

During Sale Periods

Please note these specific policies during sale events:

  • We don't offer exchanges or refunds on discounted products.

  • Due to high order volumes during sales, we can't cancel orders because of shipping delays. However, we might cancel an order if the product isn't available.

  • For international orders, all duties and taxes will still apply as per your country's rules and you'll be responsible for them.

  • If you receive a damaged product or the wrong style during a sale, please contact us via email at care@thelucknowchikankari.com.

Since our products are handmade and use natural processes, you might notice slight, lovely differences in color, finish, or overall look. That's part of their unique charm!

We try our best to show our product colors and details accurately. However, the exact color you see on your screen might look a little different in person due to various screen settings.

Wash & Care

Every product page on our website has specific wash care instructions. Please follow these very carefully to keep your garments looking their best.

Finding Your Perfect Size

  • We know sizing can be tricky, so each product has its own specific "Size Guide."

  • This guide shows essential measurements (like chest, length, and waist) for that particular garment's silhouette.

  • Always check the "Size Guide" for each item you order, as sizes can vary. How a garment fits depends on its cut, fabric, and style – some are meant to be snug, others more relaxed.

Invoice

You'll get two copies of your invoice:

  • A physical copy will come with your products when they're delivered.

  • An electronic copy will be emailed to you as soon as your order is confirmed.

Member Checkout

Our Member Checkout feature makes shopping easier and faster for registered members!

Here's how it works:

  • When you create an account, you can save your shipping, billing, and payment details.

  • This means you won't have to enter them every time you shop!

  • We'll save your card details (number, cardholder name, expiry date) exactly as they appear on your card. We will never save your CVV or security code.

  • If you save more than one card, the one you saved most recently will be charged by default.

Indemnification

You agree to protect The Lucknow Chikankari (and its directors, employees, and partners) from any claims, damages, or costs that come from your actions or inactions when using this website. This includes legal fees.

Sarala Lata Creations can also seek legal action in any Indian court, and you agree to their exclusive jurisdiction in such courts.

The arbitration will follow the rules of the Indian Arbitration Act, and the arbitrator's decision will be final and legally binding.
